A Visit to Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

27 Nov

Nothing is more rustic than getting outdoors and discovering the natural beauty surrounding your home, cabin or lodge and we wanted to show you one of our favorite places to explore.

On the Central Coast of California in Monterey Country sits what is considered to be one of the most beautiful state parks, Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.

Point Lobos has so much to offer visitors, from gorgeous sightseeing, to scuba diving, jogging, hiking, and of course plenty of spots for a lovely picnic. The park is also incredibly popular among artists and is usually sprinkled with photographers, painters, and poets looking for inspiration.

The park staff is dedicated to educating the public on the rare plant communities, endangered archeological sites, unique geological formations, and rich flora and fauna that reside along this stunning coast.

The captivating animals, breathtaking views, and peaceful atmosphere at Point Lobos are truly remarkable and we feel blessed to live so close to this amazing stretch of land.
